Before it ships
Two things we do not get to decide for ourselves. Whether the coffee is clean, and whether it is good enough to be called specialty.
Every batch is tested by an independent lab before it ships. Third party means the lab has no stake in what it finds.
Every lot we sell grades at 80 points or higher on the Specialty Coffee Association scale. Eighty is the line where coffee is allowed to be called specialty at all.

Who is Seed House
We are a small, faith-driven coffee company based in Michigan. Our coffee is ethically sourced, roasted to order in the United States by our roasting partner, and third-party lab tested before it ships.
We started Seed House because a business should be able to do some good in the place it actually lives. You do not need a big platform to make a difference. You need to start, stay at it, and trust that what you plant grows into something.
Run by real people in Michigan. You can email us and a person answers.

Matthew 17:20
If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.
A mustard seed runs one to two millimeters across, about the size of a pinhead. That is the part of the picture that matters, not the mountain. The size was never the point. What mattered was that it went in the ground, and that somebody kept tending it.
The give-back
Not out of a markup. It goes into one Michigan fund, and we will publish where it went.
See what we are up to.
